Hi, I'm about to rig a character in maya and I just tested out how the mesh deforms on different spots like the knee, ankle and surprise it deforms not so well even though I've added edge loops to these spots.

My question is now: How do I fix this that it deforms without moving the geometry? (dunno how to explain)

Edit: I think It's working way better now:
