SVGs not showing up in Designer.

I created a simple SVG so I can use it as a mask. When I link the SVG in designer and drag it into a graph, it doesn't show any of the paths I've created:




It appears as just an empty SVG node. However, if I double click on the actual resource to preview it, it shows the correct SVG:



I know on the Designer documentation it says to choose "Convert to outline" in Illustrator when exporting the SVG, and I did that. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I haven't seen much fuss about this, so this must not be a common issue, so I'm probably doing something wrong, but I don't know what.

There might be features in your SVG that are not supported by SD. SVG support is very basic. I'm not familiar with how Illustrator saves SVG, I tend to use Inkscape instead, but you may have to remove any layer or shape information to only keep paths.

In addition to what Jerc mentioned, also note that the svg is not handled the same way when it is inside the graph and inside the explorer window, that's probably why you can preview it when double clicking on it in the explorer window.
