@ Fridock: Thanks for the comment, would you mind pointing out the smoothing errors? that way i can fix them up.
@ Sammy101: Thanks! To be honest i cant really say since i was not able to work on it solid. But i would have to say it took me about 7 days, around 2 to 3 hours a day tops.
Hey guys, a little update on the old gal, sorry took so long got caught up with work and haven't had much time. Anyways without further adur! here she is
I know there is still much to get done, let me know if you guys feel like i am on the right path and what other comments you feel like leaving! This is my first time trying to texture to impress.
the wear on the STANAG is backwards, the valleys would still be coated while the ridges would be more worn. Notice how the valleys aren't affected by wear.
Im back with a little update, its been a bit unfortunately i haven't had much time to work on it.
Anyways here it is.
The flash hider, magazine and pistol grip have not been worked on. I am ready for any and all comments, I still have much to learn about texturing and will really appreciate your opinion. Thanks
Again man, this has been cited multiple times, the magazine is far too thick to be a STANAG magazine. The model itself is actually really good, though you should brighten up some of the metal, unless it's painted. I'm talking particularly about the barrel, it just looks too black to me. The barrel on my G3 (admittedly a different rifle and manufacturer) was a lot brighter, similar in colour to what you have on the mag. If it is painted, I suggest you add in paint wear; the paint flakes off first, and then the underlying metal scratches.
So s small update guys, i have fixed the mag as said by many, but i am having a small problem, I tried importing it into UE4 but my metal looks really weird, would you guys be able to help me?

Fixed the Magazine size, re-working the LP to bring down the Tri count.
Image update will soon follow.
