Hi guys.
I am currently have issues with my normal maps when i do cylinders or circles with having weird edges due to the process shown in the example below.
How do i work around fixing up the edges as using a bevel on the low poly will end up having to much geometry as it is at its most already. Any help will be thanked as it is an issue i keep running into time and time again
.
Thanks in advance.
This is the end result as i am still learning to use the software.

If this is just for a portfolio piece then don't stress so much on geometry budget, worry about creating kick ass art first and foremost.
Otherwise you can try matching your highpoly geometry more closely to your lowpoly's.
this is just practice work i am messing around with as i am not good enough to make a portfolio as of yet
Thank you very much for the link, that is was trying to find it
Thanks again all for helping
