As 3D modeller and organ player i find this concept is very interesting its like a 3D Connexion for your feet.

Haha, me too. I almost always have at least one leg up. Even right now.
The device looks disappointing, though. I thought it would just be some pedals attached to modifier keys. I can't imagine trying to navigate 3D space with a wobbly disc, for Christ's sake.

I could conceive of using my feet for additional inputs. At best, though, and doing this right now, I'd be most comfortable with a tappable button with my heel as the pivot point against a surface.

Something similar to this would be nice for seated VR movement so your hands are free for leap or whatever else controllers you'll use for interacting. But for modeling..meh.
