The device looks disappointing, though. I thought it would just be some pedals attached to modifier keys. I can't imagine trying to navigate 3D space with a wobbly disc, for Christ's sake.
I could conceive of using my feet for additional inputs. At best, though, and doing this right now, I'd be most comfortable with a tappable button with my heel as the pivot point against a surface.
Something similar to this would be nice for seated VR movement so your hands are free for leap or whatever else controllers you'll use for interacting. But for modeling..meh.

Same here. Screw good posture and the whole "Standing Desk" thing going on.
