Hi guys!

So my recent project is a character after an Aion concept, but I won't do it 100% after it. My main focus on this project is to learn how to make good looking clothing and sort of find my own style as well (as I haven't quite found it yet).

Here is the concept:

Here is the model so far:

I know I have a lot to do, like push her boobs up(quite a lot, actually), the skirt I am just not happy with it at the momemt. The neck park (I have no clue what to call it, but I hope you guys understand what I mean). I kind of want fuse the pants and shoes together, but I kind of don't... And of course a lot more is missing!

Some more wips:

The legs are a bit meaty right now compared to the concept and her proportions are a bit adrogynous right now like she doesn't have that womanly curvature. Her breasts are pushed in but she still has a curve from the dress.

The fluffiness of the dress also extends down a bit more and it's almost touching the ankles.

Try to avoid the details until later and just get the proprtions right and blocking things out like the ornaments with simple extrusions.

One thing that could greatly help is since this is from Aion , to see if there's ingame models of that dress so you can get a picture of what it looks like from behind.

    Hope this could help you.

If I was you i would stick with the original concept, not only because your main critique will be people telling you what doesn't fit with the original concept, but if you're goal is to practice, practice with something that was design by someone who is job is to design stuff. Because there's some stuff that aren't working at all, for example you don't put whalebone on skinny pants, that not the purpose of whalebone at all. With the shape you put for the top, there's no way in hell this would stay like this except if it's really super tight and sticky, in that case it would never had fold on the most thigh spot. it makes no sense. Keep the original design, it would be easier to focus on what you want to focus on; sculpting cloth not designing them.
