The best way is just take your normal map and convert it thru map converter to Diffuse and from that point make an old school work pipeline to adjust add details etc. and create all textures. I use this method when creating new materials from a scratch or a photo.

What is a converter I can use to convert it to Diffuse ?
Click on the little thingy under the top right "x" of the ndo window. There you find an option called "map converter". That's what you are looking for.
