Even if you sculpts a non human monster, it's better to build him with " a kind of " human proportion. By this, it will help to get a more realistic feeling on your creation.
Hey, i would also suggest taking a better look at neck muscles in general. How many are there,where are they actually placed and which ones affect the surface.

I did some corrections on the arms and torso made it more human like...just wanted to know is it coming along fine or not? Also removed the extra neck muscles actually i wanted it to look a bit deformed not exactly human either..

Try to focus more on proportion, to me arms looks too tiny, and the torso too big !
