Hi, currently i am making a Gothic Cathedral for a University Project, which i will grab screen renders using Marmoset toolbag 2.06. Taking into account that i am still a University student, some critical and constructive feedback would be helpful
I also have another question. I am struggling to make the roof of the Gothic Cathedral, i have tried using a Sphere to get the shape but it's just boggling my mind at the moment
If anyone knows any tutorials or even a step by step procedure to create the roof that would be helpful.
Below are two screen grabs of my WIP, as well as a reference of a Gothic Cathedral with the roof design.

What program are you using to model everything?
Like JadeEyePanda said, try and create that sense of big, grandiose structure.
Something to keep in mind for future reference; post work up here in the earlier stages of a project, get those experienced eyes on your work before you progress too far in to it.
Definitely don't do any more detailing or texturing work before going back and nailing the scale in blockout.
Keep going
Seen the Uni card used for terrible things. And great things.
Do you have a better reference photo of the roof? There may be an easy way to get it done.
And i prefer to the 'no mercy' approach, i'm striving to improve so i'll take everything said to me into consideration and remember it for future projects

Pages 267 to 436 cover Gothic architecture. I think you'll find that Gothic cathedrals have a great variety and are far more complex than you think they are :-) .
