WayForward is seeking an experienced Technical Artist to work across multiple projects, with multiple game engines. In addition to having good 3d art skills, applicants should also be proficient at designing and trouble shooting art pipelines, and should have a good amount of experience working with modern 3d game engines.
Requirements:
2 years games industry experience
Solid knowledge of Rigging
Proficiency with Maxscripting (any other scripting experience is a bonus)
Proficiency with at least one shader language (HLSL, Open GL, etc.)
Expert knowledge of 3dsMax (knowledge of Maya is a bonus)
Basic knowledge of Photoshop
Strong communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Self motivated
Some experience with the Unity game engine is a bonus
This is a per-project position, but for artists that work out well there is a good probability of being kept on for future projects.
Wayforward is located in Santa Clarita, California. This an on-site position.
