Greetings,

It has been about a year since I've started learning 3D and I want to build some sort of portfolio.

I would kindly appreciate any critiques/remarks/suggestions about it so that i know in what direction should i focus most of my efforts.

My thanks in advance!:poly121:

    Hey your stuff looks good. Just got some crits. 1) I don't know what the first prop is. Is it a paddle? Also the scratches on the end are too uniform and are in a straight line instead of varied around. 2) The house is too uniformed as well. There is no color variation in the wood, stones, and roof. 3) Holy smokes Batman. Sooooooo many rivets on that plane. All I see are rivets. I would tone down the amount just a tad.

    Hey, the work is decent for your XP level. You should show software was involved with each object and show the UVs/Texture flats alongside the models. Adding some very short info for the asset would be helpful, e.g, are those weapons in the first pic first or third person. Portfolio viewer may not have time to go check your game link. Is the aircraft your design or did you just model it and texture it? Let your secrets be known

    @dschmidt3d

    Thanks for response. I totally agree on everything said. First prop is supposed to be a sword made from propeller blade. And rivets, yeah i totally overdid with them.

    Thanks for reply. I will add rendering engine and software used in the description. But what do you mean by showing texture flats alongside the models? I do have texture sheets shown in the end of every model's page.
    Maybe it is not readily evident that pictures on the main page are clickable?

    Hey yeah I didn't get that the images were clickable maybe you might highlight that more, the break downs on the other pages are good though.

    Wireframes! Isoline highpoly (if you've got em) and low poly. I hear that's how the pro's (ones who hire you) can tell how fast/efficient you are with your modeling.

    EDIT: Accidentally clicked on one of your photo's and realized you had many more shots/wireframes. Maybe add a hover state to the images in your top level gallery, or something to indicate they are clickable.
