Do you have any plans to implement the kind of particle effects painting the surface painter has?

Not that Im aware about, focus in 1.9 will be on the 3D painting tool (among other cool things) and let me tell you, its something else!! Can´t wait for you guys to try it out

3D Painting tool in 1.9 ? I upgraded to 1.9, maybe I'm missing something ?

Im not on the dev-team so i don't have access to any sneak peaks, but from what I've hear the 3D painting is pretty damn amazing!!

The 1.9 release will feature 3d painting, you can paint your masks directly on the mesh, Ddo will be the same ddo but with this awesome new feature! Just to be clear, there will be no particles in 1.9!

3D Painting in nDo, wow, we are talking Substance Painter in nDo, that is awesome. I hope it lives up to it's expectation.

How about GPU Map Baking, in a future release?
