Okay, so I am trying to model my little brother and use him as a character, next is me and a friend, I got into trouble and lost my way, I don't know how to continue but I feel that I should start all over again, but then again, how and what steps should I take, as in where should I start modeling, what should I think about and how do I do this? and so on.
Here is the Reference pictures that I am using:
And how far I have gotten and where I gave up... :I
And yes I know that the head is too small, have tons of edges which doesn't add up and looks creepy as butt... :poly122:
I am no character artist but I think I could give you some tips on what I should have done.
If you are going for a realistic character you should focus on sculpting the character in Zbrush or mudbox to make sure you have right more similarites and then bake everything to a lowpoly character. Right now you can't see that it is your brother. You can ofcourse do it all in Maya but its hard to iterate.
