Medieval Longsword -(WIP)

Hey so i started this to get some practice (especially texturing can't wait to get to work on this).

I'm currently on high poly and i just want to make sure i haven't missed any oddities that more experienced eyes might pick up (proportions etc.. ).

My knowledge of blades etc.. isn't very large so if i did a big mess up please let me know x)

Its looks good on the technical side, but I think a more interesting sword design could better show off your abilities.

Do you use a normal map ? Your last shot show error in the lighting, and all your edges are very hard.
