The aim of this dissertation project was to produce an online video promotion for a luxury car hire company in which a Lamborghini Aventador turns into an autobot. This video proves that one person can produce a highly complex project, which would involve a complete production studio.

This project showcases my skills in many areas – from filming to 3D Animation. My dream is to be a Visual Effects Supervisor / Director at a well-known motion picture company. Therefore, having a strong knowledge of cameras, filming techniques, animate and compose visual effects is a big advantage, and mastering every step in the production pipeline would come in handy in many industries, especially in the film and motion picture industry.

Working on this project was a great experience. I had a lot of fun making it real and hope that it attracts attention to my portfolio and help to take my career to the next level.

the animations could certainly use a lot of work. The dancing at the end is a lot better than the transformation animation but even that has a weird clunkyness to it (kind of like stop motion), and also the feet slide around a lot which is very noticeable

The model itself looks great (im assuming the beginning part was actual footage of a real car?) as far as i can tell..

making a transformer is quite an ambitious project, since Michael Bay has set the bar pretty high :P
