Decided to make second model. This time it will be Miss Fortune base skin. Also will do it this time with z-brush high poly sculpt like all cool kids does

Hey! Sculpts looking great, but I feel you could use a lot more of that negative space on your unwrap. It's a 2048, you would save so many pixels optimizing those islands.
Squals Thanks! I'm aiming for 512x512, cos i believe that is the size of ingame texture size and also i want it to work good with mipmapping. Dunno why - just a habit
So fast! I will say that her face looks a little masculine to me, particularly on the front shot? Could just be a personal preference though, besides that little niggle she's looking fantastic!

slosh Thanks man! What do you mean by different vibe? Can you describe how it is changed? It's the first time i'm doing handpainted textures from highpoly with all that bakes, so i'm wondering how things are changed.

Man, love the final sheets! I think I like this better than the Caitlyn even though that one was amazeballz as well! I think this one just has a more "real" feel that you just don't get from handpainting with no sculpt bake to base it off of. I can tell I'm not making much sense but for example, the pants on Miss Fortune just feels "real" even though its handpainted. Still fits the style but feels "real" ARGGG, I can't explain it!!
I have loved watching both of your threads. Great work all around! As a person that mains Caitlyn I would be such a happy camper if Riot just took both of your art revamps. Seriously beautiful work. Congrats!

slosh Thanks man! I'm kinda understand what you mean. With sculpt as a base model have more realistic vibe and more believeble details and light interaction. More variations in small volumes that make it look bit less "think thru" looks - more accident feeling that makes it look more realistic. Dunno if it is good in this case - LoL have more stylized looks but as for fanart goes it's ok

Looks amazing, this one looks more "real" than your Caitlin model. So with the art style in the new map i think Cait suits more in-game. You have a bizarre ability to take the characters from theirs splash arts and create a perfect model of them. Both Miss and Cait look exactly like they sould, just amazing work man.
Kazaam Thanks! Yup, this one turn out bit more realistic than Caitlyn, but it was very fun to do The goal for me was to make 3d model that looks as close as i can do to their splash art. But in this case - i've changed her hat from their splash to something that looks more hm... like a hat.

Here is an update - lowpoly, uv, baked textures from highpoly. There are some problem areas on bake - will fix them while will be painting a texture.
