Hi guys, I'm new here, just a 2D artist want to make Dota2 items. I'm try learning 3D but I would share my ideas here in case anyone wants to collaborate.

I really like the direction this is going. I do like the first chest item better than your updated one with both sleeves and his chest showing through the mesh, however. I also like the arm/back piece

my feedback would be to maybe try some more belt clip thingies, and perhaps a couple other head variations to explore more ideas.

but yeah, really liking how this is coming!

Eeeeeh... Ignoring the unecessary over-sexualized sideboob girl, the loadingscreen is pretty desaturated outside of the main Storm Spirit and pretty noisy overall.

Other than that I actually really like the loading screen.
It has a bit of story in it which most loading screens lack.

Thanks for CC! Yeah i going to change that girl turning to a pig (being hex), like Storm using ninjutsu to fit ninja theme, but now just leave it like that before model is made. Maybe i'll just make another loading screen, still have some nice idea with ninja

Well for me some loading screens around workshop pretty too simple for me, some cool pose or rendered 3d model, no story or artistic element at all. I used to be a comic artist so i want to tell some story with loading screen, especially set have some lore with it

BTW, it seem everyone going to make New Bloom theme set, so here my tribute. Not sure about the set's name at all. Head and weapon slot still need to work a lot

The sculpt looks good, especially the hair which looks lovely! I do think that the fur needs to break the shape of the base mesh more though, it looks kinda uninteresting and flat atm. A bit too uniform. The nice spiky shape from the concept hasn't really translated into 3d.

@Snowstorm: Thanks! I and my partner want to do some spiky shape too, but is seems may take a lot of poly, you know the ram head, the sleeves, the fur and the dress are in a same slot. I dont know if there are any solution for it, maybe using normal map?

Make the spikes much bigger and have less of them. Also, they don't need to spike out of the model, just need to break up the surface. Take a look at the fur that Onilolz and Zaphk did for their New Bloom mount. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2219854&postcount=17395

the pose has been improved (where the hands are located and such)
but i personally like the first version of having a "frame", instead of showing the whole leg.

version 1 gives a more building feeling and u can feel she's standing inside the building looking down the building

version 2 lost that feeling though, it looks like someone trying to take a photo of her underwear and become that pose ;x

@Sukotto: I was the one who did the hair. Nobiru had health problem back then and was in the hospital, so I took over the sculpting. I did the hair by using many subtools, one subtool for each hair strand, then I sculpt the details on each strand using mostly claytube and orbcrack brushes, then clay polish. As for the 'net' on her hair, it was done by Nobiru using blender.

Oh wow!! the outfit design is incredible. The sword feels a little thin at the handle and the fur detail could perhaps be worked in a little better, but the theme is great and the pants/mask are awesome.

I like the design a lot. I'd suggest making the those fluffy leg-guards stick out a bit more, since the leg silhouette is a bit linear.

Update Jugg concept! Make him more warrior than a monkey (well someone tell me too many fur make him look like one). The Lore is is about a warlord go nut, he become a monster and go wild blah blah, and Jugg got his stuff . The sword base on Hachiwara, a type of sword use for break helmet/skull, I think it fir this theme pretty well. I love the old big sword too, but its seems his animation not good for that kind of sword, it look too heavy



Also retouch for Storm concept , Seeing Triangle making model for this set
