Surface pro 2 for 3d??

Hey guys, today i saw a surface pro 2 tablet in a store from my country, really cheap right now and i want to buy it today..so here's the question : Is surface pro 2 any good for Zbrush/Maya/Photoshop? I have a Wacom Intuos Pen and Touch but i really want Surface pro 2 for 3d and also for university
Should i buy it? If yes, are there any drivers ( like a wacom one) that i need for a better work? thanks!

get artdock for zbrush, i think it also has tools for photoshop and maya but i never used it with these, for zbrush it is pretty good.

Thanks man! But..how's surface pro2 for zbrush? It is any good ? I ordered it from the store since i got home from the university and I'm to lazy to go to the store ��
Artdock is a plug-in or something like that?

before i got the surface pro 3 (3 not 2) i got the samsung slate which was already very cool with zbrush. probably nothing to seriously work with unless you plug it on a proper monitor, but a fun device for mobile sculpts.

Should I use artdock and the wacom driver ( i heard that there is one for surface pro 2 ) ?

^ Yes you should. I recommend getting the artdock from surfaceproartist.com, it's an updated version.

Also, maybe a glove for the hand you use the pen with. Pressing artdock buttons and having fingers of the other hand touch the display will confuse the SP2.

Only annoying thing about using Zbrush on a SP2 is the tiny UI you can't change.

i never had issues on my samsung slate using this artdock.

It happens when you press simultaneously with both hands and also have the pen tip touching (ie pressing ALT and using the pen, while also having the pen hand's fingers touching the screen). Might be a SP2 thing, of course.

texting from the tablet and is great...now i need to instal the Artdock driver and maybe the wacom driver....should i instal any other drivers?
