Big sci fi Door WIP

So I thought I'd try out designing my own sci fi door for a personal project and potentially for my portfolio if it turns out good. Would appreciate it if I can get any early crit & comment in both the design itself and the model. Haven't done anything like this before, so any pointers would be great !

really? Well damn, thanks for letting me know because I can see them fine on my end. Was using postimage, but now I just switched to dropbox (edited original post). Now it should be viewable I hope. Can someone confirm?

Looks great, reminds me of forerunner doors in Halo. Will you fully animate it when you're done?

thanks guys! Although I might go back to revisit the tiny details with the mechanical bits in the middle since they seem to get lost when viewed from afar (if i have time).
