SO! I decided to do a new costume for Elise. She is my favourite character (it was either her or Riven) but since i quite like the goth/alternative fashion i decided to do Elise because i feel like she appeals to the darker side of my personality (horror/spiders etc etc). So i hope you enjoy my scribbles and WIP and finished piece!
Sick concept, love it! Looks like your put a lot of work into this.
Her face is a bit stylized - did you mean to?
I would remove the little locks on her legs. Her belly tattoos aren't necessary. I feel like her head can be smaller. And her lower arms are too straight - bend them a little bit.
For her face i tried to make it as stylised as i could to try and closely fit the League of Legends art style. so long as it looks good right? :O
yeah i was looking at both the locks and the belly tattoos with skepticism myself and your critique has made me definitely consider removing them because they dont really hold a place in the design. so thank you for that! ill try work on the arms! thanks
Ok, let's see:
Elise has rim lighting so maybe darken her a bit or give her a bright outline at fitting places.
The spiders can be pushed back a little. I think a soft color layer that fits the surroundings would do. Also maybe work on cast shadows for the spiders. They look like they're floating.
Maybe also scale down or remove the spiders on the right side.
Keep it up. The spiders look amazing, btw.
Great work!
I love the color scheme in the piece! and the extra mile taken in the extra character!
The atmosphere in the background is groovy
If I were to leave a suggestion, I would put a contrast between the two separate characters. The colors sorta muddle together and they both get a little lost where they intersect.
Thanks Brullox! yeah i was worried about that myself. Especially where the spider leg on her back intersects with the crystal abdomen of the spider. gonna need to maybe dull the colours a bit. thanks for the compliments!
Hey Enalya thanks so much. I did use a blue and purple-ish background before but i found it was a bit too unnatural and it didnt make my Elise pop that much. If you have some cool suggestions I would be willing to try it and show you thanks for the critique!
okay i guess im nearing the end now. Getting to that point where you just gotta leave something alone. Hope you guys like will be submitting soon. thanks for all your criticism

Maybe another color comp for the background? Don't find this so fitting with her colors.
