Had problems so I didn't go forward with my original idea. But those are over and I am really digging the recent bloodmoon skins. Lots of stuff to do. Figuring out the design on the go which is a bad habit...

He's currently at 7.3k. I still need to fix stuff, add deformation loops, and clean it up. Also bit unsure about topology in general but I guess I'll get a better understanding once I try to rig him. (very green at rigging :poly122:)
Going to be a race to the finish..Textures have a long way to go. Jayce is at 7632 tris and the hammer is 4266.
Also spent a day trying to figure out how to skin...It was terrible...
Your character fits really well with the map. The armor pieces really look like they belong in the same world with the buildings especially. Great job!
Yellowed and saturated the armor a bit so he stands out more against the environment. (also mesh is still wonky from the default skin bind)
Need to finish the hammer textures, clean the rig and polish everything
Ya know i was honestly skeptical of this at first; Jayce has such a particular design focus that it's hard to make anything new that fits him...but ya know what, I really like this!

Thought I should post a wip. Still need a lot to do but hopefully can finish him tomorrow. Then on to the hammer.
Started to hate how mine looked which may be a sign to take a break. So current wip and skin bind pose with no cleaning.

Dwall, heh i'm going to be honest it's just the hammer. Give any of the characters a hammer and they become Jayce.
This was a real fun competition with lots of learning, crying and improving .
Ok submitted!. The naming convention was a bit wierd. Discipline is character art right? lets hope so.
