After several false starts with the fuselage this is the current progress...
However, I have made some more recent changes by building in the panel work and re-working the cockpit.
There are some super shonky bits still but it's something. Any Critiques would be awesome. After all the stress this is causing I'm starting to dislike planes.
Thank you.

One thing to remember is that the mosquito was made from fabric covered plywood in the most part. The engine cowls were one of the only alloy bits. Not sure about the nose cone, but go easy on the rivits ect.
The control surfaces were all just fabric covered. A good opportunity for some nice detail.
The nose cone does appear to be metal..

(Some good ref photos along with that image).
My only problem is trying to in-bed panels on a curved surface. I'll try not to go to crazy with screws and rivits, I'm only placing them where I can see them on my reference.
Thanks!
Latest.
Still need to add all the extra panels and minor details but most of it should be there by now.
Cheers,
Still need to do some work, but the high poly model should be nearly there.. I'm really not happy with either rendering methods that I'm using. If anyone can point me in a good direction of some awesome examples, that would be great. I have a collection of images from internet browsing but I'm struggling to break them down.
Any comments about the plane is also welcome!
Thank you
Below is my latest render inspired by camouflage designs from aircraft books, also inspiration from a chap called Antonis Karidis who makes some awesome aircraft models.
I've made some texture changes since this, but hopefully it's getting there. Thank you.
Not sure about them though any opinions? My main issue from my reference was that they differ at different speeds.
I tried putting it with an old black and white image from the Wikipedia page:

Any feedback would be awesome, thank you.

It looks like you have the Landing Flaps set up to do the Aileron's functions? :poly124:
Other than that, looks great!
I knew there would be something wrong, I'm not much of an aviation expert (More trains). I should have probably looked into that a bit more. I can fix it never the less. Thanks for the heads up.
