Combine it with some of this new optical hand/finger tracking and this could be awesome, if accurate enough. Pressure sensitivity is probably the biggest problem, though.
Personally, I think this is really cool, but I'm not sure how practical it'd be. The cost to be able to get started is pretty high in my opinion and then there's a whole new learning curve you have to go through to get used to sculpting in a way like that. Additionally, this looks like it could be exhausting if you had to do it for long periods of time and I don't think it'd be possible to get the same level of precision that a good tablet could provide.
Still, it's nice to see the artists' tools are evolving, this could lead to some really awesome new technology in the future.

I'd actually enjoy using my hands to animate and manipulate the rig rather than a mouse.
Once finger gestures are a feature.. Create beautiful arcs and pulling and bending the rig in many ways, would make my life a lot easier. Similarily to how someone would animate a puppet or claymation, but on the computer. That would be fantastic!
Those nunchucks tho.. I can see what a lot of you are saying regarding fatigue and joint pain
Who needs a gym membership then :icon60:
