I'm also working on something with a wood material and looking to rotate the angle. I have all pieces in my UV rotated appropriately to follow a consistent grain in the material, but by default DDO has the wood grain running horizontally, when I need it to run vertically.
Hey Neil, hope you are doing well. At the moment it is impossible to do that due to the fact that Photoshop doesnt support pattern rotations. Your best bet is to texture area like that in a classic fashion on a usual layer that you will propogate to other maps of your project! At least for now this is your best bet.
