For seam termination to take effect you need to enable it when creating your project, the fact that the sliders as visible in Dynamask even when they dont have any effect is a bug, thank you for bringing this to our attention!
Thanks, Eric! The software is wonderful. I see the seam termination option now - silly me for not noticing before. But hey, at least you've got a reported and fixable bug as a result!
I have the same problem except I did click the seam termination option. The sliders yield no result whatsoever. I did this while reimporting the ID map, however, would that have some effect?
I don't really understand why Quixel is calling it "seam terminator"
I've tried it a bit, and from what I can see, all it does is blurring the textures on the UV seam using masking, it doesn't terminate them. The only way you can actually terminate them is paint over them in a different software. That's just misleading in my opinion.
Magihat - you can not activate seam termination by re-importing inputs, it needs to be activated when creating a new project, its a bug that the option appears when re-importing, thank you for reporting and pointing that out!
