I've been following a tutorial on zbrush to create a ornamental object. It looks like the following.
My question is, its currently around the 3 million poly mark. I can decimate it down below a million, but it there a way I can remesh this to create a base mesh to then hand create the topology. At the moment whenever I try to get a mesh to wrap around it, I get abnormal issues where the gaps in the mesh are as it cannot find any geo to attach to.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Pretty much the same thing for the dragons on top. The dragon head can be simplified, and the scales along its back could be alpha-mapped on a strip.
