[Riot Art Contest] - Nunu the Yeti Rider

Hi, thought I would try doing Nunu the Yeti Rider for this challenge... Here are some study of nunu and yeti I did to figure out their proportion and what the design might be... Also some thumbnails for the illustration to figure out the pose....


And here are the ref I am looking at for style and may be the direction ill go... at the moment I am thinking it will be chained yeti with some Blood Boil effect and maybe Absolute Zero effect?.... will see where it goes

did some more sketch to see if I can find better composition and pose but decided I like the thumbnail from before... I am going to start rendering this... still not 100% on the effects... but yeah wanna start painting

not sure if I want to make the wind effect have his hair blowing lol... but this is where its at the moment....

and this is where its now... trying to get the face looking good... not sure if I want the mouth open or not.... and decided not to cop out and made the hair blowing in the wind... not totally 100% on it yet but I think it is working.... and now moving on to really figure out the hand...

think I am happy with this direction for the yeti...going to slowly render things out now and nail down nunu's pose...
