[Riot Art Contest] - Masterchef Braum

Hey guys, how is it going?
I'm Raphael and this is pretty much the first time I'm participating in a contest like this. Loving the artwork the community has been creating so far (:
I wanted to paint something more cheerful than what I'm used to, so I thought painting Braum as a chef cooking for his Poro friends would be fun. Still very rough, but I figured I would have to create the topic sooner or later anyways. I'm kind of messy, sorry.
This is the thumbnail I chose.
Threw in some quick color just to help me figure out the mood and to see if it was to my liking. Going back to values after this.

Haven't had time to work on it a lot, but here's my progress:

So many wonderful paintings out there, I'm really excited. Right now I feel like the lighting on the background lost some energy when compared to the thumbnail, I'll try to fix that next time.
Next I'll probably add some more ingredients and kitchen elements to increase depth and get some overlapping going on. I'm probably going to change some of his clothing and background elements... still debating if he should be cooking at Freljord or on a more modern setting.
Quick update. The clothing was a bit dull, now I'm liking it more. Not 100% sure on the fur though, gonna make some extra changes.

Braum is just not Braum without it.
Love your Nami btw. One of my favourites from the ones I've seen.
There may be a kitchen tool that might be flat enough to be used as a shield, but I don't know much about cooking, so I can't help you much at that XD
Quick update, everyone. I've rendered out a couple of areas. Tomorrow I'll be painting all the stuff in the table. Over the weekend I'll try to come up with shield ideas and finish the background. That should leave me with a couple extra days to work on final details and adjustments.
About the shield - maybe Deonos' cutting table idea could work. Either that or I might go with a Poro design. Actually, a fridge would be quite funny since the food would scatter all over the place if he ulted, but I don't see how holding a fridge would be practical hahaha
I'm done with the food, but I'll just wait until the background is finished and then I'll post it. Haith, he is indeed cooking the poros!

Now that I look at it, I might hint at some elements on the background to give it more depth. Very subtle stuff. Thanks for looking, everyone!
