Hi everybody !
After a long reflexion, and with the advice of a friend, I decided to animate a yordle armed with 2 giant drills.
Here is the skeleton I will use for the contest :
I am finalizing the first try for the run cycle. I will show you what I did soon

Here is a little update of my animations.
I made some modifications on the model, by removing pistons on the back, and adding a miner's hat.
In fact, pistons made the animation difficult to understand for few people.
And here is the animation for the special attack. It's a work in progress. I still have some retakes to do.
After that, I plan to add some effects when he digs into the ground, then, scale up the drill when he prepare the final punch in the air, and add a shock wave at the end, with rock's projection.
Let me know what you think
Keep it up
"I have an idea for a new champion. Can I use this for this competition?
No. This is a fan art competition. You can either recreate a champion/skin with your own take on it or create your own original skin for one of our established champions. We are not judging your idea but the final execution. Be sure that if you are designing your own skin that we can still tell who the champion is."
I think a lot of us are out of competition -.-'
I'm still not sure how they will feel about ripped models from the game, but if its a character in a likeness I doubt they will care at all.
Keep up the grand work, its not over yet!
Regarding the FAQ question, I agree with the guys, I wouldn't worry. It was directed at a different discipline. Somewhere in the Q&A thread it said that basically only the animation counts, not the model, not the rig, nothing but the animation and its idea. So you are good to go!
Anyway, it's to late now to create a new animation from scratch. I don't have time for this, so I will continue with this rig.
Just in case, maybe I should consider this is a miner ziggs skin, with explosive drills, and add a dynamite block on his back.
Here is the last version of the ultimate attack. Let me know what you think about it. I will do some retakes this week end

Because of the size of my character, I suggest you watch it in full screen.
Sorry for the bad quality. I'm trying to fix this.
Edit : a better version is uploading. You will be able to watch it in a few minutes with the same link
His helmet light coming on over his opponent is just awesome aye, so good.
Arturow : I already have posted the last version of my ultimate attack

I will probably do some minor changings this week. I'm not sure my poses are strong enough.
I am loving this for sure! Great style for a killer entry!
Good work dude!
I am actually working on the montage.
Here is the last WIP before the final render today.

I changed a few things on my animation during the last 2 days :
- Modified poses to make them more dynamic
- Scaled up the drill when the character is in the air
- Changed the way he land on the ground at the end of the attack.
I think I still have a few modifications to make it better, but I'm not sure. For exemple :
Does the way he pull out the drill of the floor work ?
Does the Drill scale up too slowly ?
Tell me what do you think.
I'im freeeeeeee ! Now I can go sleep (yeah, right now, it's 9 of the morning in my country. I worked during all the night :poly124: )
My hands are shaking

You did a really good job on your animation too
I still can't believe I have the 1rst place. I'm so happy !
I have to say, your animations were really, really great too !
For sure, I will continue to post animations on Polycount. It's a pleasure to share some work with a great community like this
