hey guys!
so i managed to set up all my character presentation shots

To me:
im studying media technology and design in austria and do 3d art since
a year. I am pretty much all self taught, because my university only teaches
basics in maya so all i learned there about 3d was not very much. Dived
myself into zBrush, 3dCoat, Quixel, xnormal and Marmoset for a bit more than
half a year now and those characters are the result
I also do kinda lot of traditional sculpting and carving so i will add some
of that too later.
thanks in advance everybody
:)

- Overall presentation/design could use some toning down. Even in your first image, I'd suggest not doing a gradient on the type, and also maybe getting rid of the double border. In your material breakdown, I'd put the map type in a consistent place, perhaps at the top?
- How does his shirt connect at the bottom? What's the purpose of having it connect instead of being all the way open or closed? It seems like it would just get in the way.
- In your video, the cord/collar around his neck appears to be clipping through the white feathers. I'd fix this or get rid of the video.
- Also, I'm not sure because I'm still working on putting my own portfolio together, but from what I've seen in others' it's common to include a turnaround, or a side/front/back view. I'd consider adding that.
Strigae Character:
- I'd use a different, clearer font in the first image.
- Her arm looks very oddly bend in the beauty shot.
- There appear to be some odd compression artifacts around her eyes/eyebrows?
- Not quite sure what the objects are that are hanging off of the staff. Could use some more definition there!
Voodoo character is looking great! I'd consider removing the "Morph" and "Walk of Waste" pieces.
about the shirt my idea was to make him really
a super poser. So i gave him this over exaggregated
uber v-neck
Also i will get rid of the vid in the portfolio.
And i will try to render some front/side/back views and add.
About strigae i wasnt sure in the first place i think i will
remove the character at all, because it was my first ever char
and at the moment i do not consider it being a good work of mine.
The movies were never meant to be in my application portfolio so
dont mind them on my artstation site i will just hand in the
characters and add some traditional sculpts later.
thanks for your critics!
front side back view.
i also added my some of my traditional works.
my portfolio then will contain far less than the actual artstation site
(see here: http://skodone.artstation.com/)
