Zbrush Polypaint Problem

Hi, I'm having this really annoying problem with Zbrush. Whenever I click New from Polypaint it always reverts back to an old polypaint I baked out. Really frustrating.

Need more information. Are you baking polypaint data out of Xnormal?

walk me through your steps, up to the problem. please.
