Hellooo everyone. After days of running through ideas and gathering reference, I finally have a concept I'm happy about. I wanted to have some fun so I made a little character chart of my champion. Let me know what you guys think!
Hello All. Sorry for the delay, after my first set of blocking I realize the personality of my champion was getting lost. I felt the champion's movement was too serious and it wasn't fun to me anymore, I had to re-shoot and gather new reference.
Here is the first blocking:
Here are the new blocking sets:
The second time around I was going for a Ginyu Force type of feel. Also I was wondering if you guys think it is too long, if so would going back to the first pose after the upper cut a good idea? Let me know, would really appreciate your guy's input thanks!
I think the hold after the first uppercut is a tad too long. If he sent a character into the air with that first uppercut, with cartoony timing that character could be travelling upwards pretty fast so I think he could move into the second uppercut quiet quickly.
Other than that it's reading pretty well. Pretty solid posing throughout imo.
@Rafael: Thanks for the feed back, i'll make the change!
@Slozhny: He's suppose to jump in the air like a super hero but slowly turning while still in that same pose. Kind of what you see in a lot of Looney Tunes animations.
Wahoo almost done with finals! Hopefully I can finish early so I can put all my focus on the contest. Here's an update of my champion, enjoy!

Still need to pose out a few other in-betweens, couldn't help myself so I started polishing some things out already. :poly121: Thinking of changing the ending pose, getting mixed feelings about it. Let me know what you guys think, thanks!
Wahoo finally finished! Sorry I couldnt upload throughout my progress, after I finished my finals I went on an animating spree and wanted to finish before doing so. Plus I wanted to get any last minute critiques.
I'll be uploading a YouTube version and my day to day progression play-blast once I get out of work today, hopefully submitting by 6-7PM. Also I wanted to ask since my champ is moving around all over the place, if it would be necessary to add a camera to follow him around for his attack.
I forgot to mention, but I'll be adding a floating ball to the attack so you guys know exactly when hes hitting something/someone.

I realized I was spinning the wrong way so I had to rotate him the opposite, or correct direction.
But then after getting feed back, I spud up the rotation because it was dragging on too long.
blocking out the ending
taking out the karate chop, speeding up the spin and cleaning the blocking a bit more
Now moving on to the walk cycle...wooo
