Black Knight Chess Piece

This guy is a character I made as part of a project to make a 3D chess board. He is the Black Knight Piece.
Just looking to get some critique on how to improve him.

the mouth and ears look like a little shark trying to escape :P

I like that the cloth on his waist reads as cloth/fabric ...not so much for whatever is on the upper half
