Hey Guys, let me begin with the problem.
I've had my mind set on doing a small modular environment using a Gothic Setting.
Using references from
http://www.moviepilot.de/files/images/0666/1462/dark-shadows-1.jpg
And also other cathedrals. i don't know if i'm overthinking this but, i got stuck on the base mesh where im trying to understand how to tile it in all directions.
As you can see, it works perfectly to rotate it, but when trying to connect it in other places it doesnt work. Is there a way to model it modular enough to cover upp empy spaces?
and this is the model itself.

but it's hard to tell in the picture you posted
Snap the model to the grid, duplicate it and see if it fits together seamlessly.. if not you need to rework it (;
try to keep everything on the grid, this should atleast help you.. if you need to make circular parts modular it's a good idea to start from a cylinder with the correct amount of sides needed and then split it up

also I was messing with them in blender the other week and this tutorial was helpful

Cube, your way of doing it in Blender was my first way of doing it!
Thanks once again!
