Hi everyone,
I've been working on this simple model. Any comments on how I have modeled and unwrapped it. I know it is simple, but I want to get it to a high level of quality that I can add to a professional portfolio. I was going for as few polys as possible whilst still maintaining the shape.
One thing I noticed was the texture is warped on the body, but I am not sure why? A friend suggested I would be better of unwrapping it like a tennis ball. Thoughts?
As for the arm/jet things, should I have modeled them straight and textured them, then just used joints to bend them? I used a bend modifier for it.
