3d artist needed for models of mechanical construction elements

About us
Upvoid is a company consisting of six computer scientists, located in Aachen, Germany. We are developing a game engine supporting procedural worlds and smooth destructible voxel terrain. Have a look at our screenshot collection to get an idea of what we are doing. (But be warned that most of the current screenshots rely on programmer’s art)

Description
We are looking for a freelance artist who can provide us with models and textures of mechanical building elements for an upcoming game.
The game will be a sandbox game that involves terrain modification like in Minecraft and the construction of mechanical devices like in Garry’s Mod.

Examples for assets we need:
  • Wood planks/beams
  • Hinges
  • Car wheels
  • Gears
  • Digging drills
The complete list of assets is negotiable and will depend on how you estimate the effort. We do not expect you to create all the assets for the game, just enough so we can create some first videos and screenshots. You will be provided with more details after you sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Requirements
  • You should have some references that show your experience with the creation of game assets.
  • You need to be able to legally write an invoice and accept payments from Germany.
  • You need to be nice and fun to work with.
