Hey guys. I'm a bit shy posting on Polycount right now given how good everyone else is. I'd really love some critiques on this project though. I'm not too happy with the profile body view, but really anything that looks off is fair game. I just recently got serious about working on my anatomy and I'm still working hard at it. Thanks!

i would give anatomy a real real deep chapter here

This should be your best friend or one of your best friends :P
as your character shows a lot of skin and muscles anatomy correctness is a must.
recheck shoulders, arms, knee, breast, abs etc.
also try to understand how muscles work. They are volumes under the skin.
On your sculpt the muscles look like sewed on patches when they are in real
pads under a stretchy surface. Also muscles are round and best seen on your
breast muscles you made them kina flat.
and for sculpting the gaps between muscles try DAM_STANDARD brush combined with
a PINCH brush here and there. this will give really nice results
i think youve done a nice job on the face still learn about
Faceplanes and try to understand the shapes of a face
all this will help you a lot to create convincing and absolutely
good looking characters.
youre on a good way! just keep patient and try to understand as much as possible
about anatomy because its one of the most important things about sculpting
If you know a lot about muscles, bones, how joints work how the body flexes etcetc
you are basically able to create any human or creature in a convincing and
realistic way which makes them much more sellable to this world
I would only show 3 serratus anterior muscles on his side. Anything more than that starts to look incorrect. I would also remove the center crease in the section of the abdominus rectus that is below the bellybutton. This should be a single mass.
Your pose is also a little stiff. He feels like he is standing at attention in the military instead just standing. This is going to make it difficult to have him look natural at all. Start with a natural pose and you wont have to make him look natural afterwards.
nice study too
one thing that also helps to add realism
when done make the abs non symmetric, they are never symmetric
