YAY another Quinn and Valor!. I'm doing her for the character art category. This looks super bad ass dude! *Subbed*
I honestly feel like post #2 has a stronger more aggressive angle. Post #3's feels too relaxed.
Post #2 just needs to be frame better. In #3 you don't have her head cropped off and she fits more in the shot, but the line of art is too passive for me and feels more like she is posing to look cool. Post #2 has a more aggressive line of action and feels more like she is attacking. SO just pull the camera further out to fit her in the shot comfortably
Isaiah Sherman Thanks, mate! I've liked last composition, but as i'm trying to represent the Skystrike ability of Quinn i'm going for the previous sketch.
Skyerzz Yeah! I'm thinking in the same way now. Thank you!
MugenMcFugen Wow! Thank you, mate! You just gave me some energy to keep going:)
Hey looking good, I'm happy you went with this one. I am a fan of a nice butt though i think you went a tad bit too far with it and it creates a tangent with her leg armor. But reduce the curve a bit. It also looks like you got a little shy about the foreshortening, which I totally understand, I don't draw to much these days but that gave me a lots of trouble back then. If you could I'd try to keep it because it really made the illustration dynamic.
*I tried to do a quick "paint over" I hope you don't mind and I hope it helps
-I reduced her bum, put her right shoulder in and her right arm away from her chest to create a nice negative space and dynamic line of action. I raised up her right leg cause it was too thick/too low and looked broken. I also angled her arm down to keep that aggressive feel
Dzaka Thank you! I think it's more LoL-ish right now:)
Skyerzz Yeah, drawing hand at this angle is a pain in the ass. But i'm going to keep it. Your overpaint is really helpful as your overall feedback, thank you! Gonna make some tweeks later on.
DAAANG, super nice composition and values. Keep going!
hmmm my only thought might be that her chest and ribcage dont quite line up. Maybe lift up the right side of her rib cage so it aligns just a bit more with the angle of her chest and shoulders? or lower change the angle of her chest? I dont know, it looks great.
If you look at all of LoL's newer character splashes, the character/focal point is practically always on the right hand side like you have her now, so I'd say it's safe to assume that keeping her on the right is
Dude your painting skills are off the chain. I would love to see more of your work! Link Please Along with that I'd love to hear from a fellow Quinn artist what you thought of what I'm doing with her.
Personally I'm on fan of having her on the left side, for reasons I've mentioned before. *BUT based on how Riot positions most of their splash pages having her on the left is the smarter place to have her for the contest.
* Just noticed, if u flip the image and have her on screen Right, then her armor and gun arm are wrong... I'm not sure if that matters to the judges.
But whats going on with her other eye? You gotta put it in there PLEASE!

I agree with Nik on this.(Refering to Quinn on screen right image) I think it would me easier and nicer approach for you would be to make the "angle change angle" (her right side/ squashing side or torso) lower. I did a quick drawing so go Op1 because Op2 makes her torso too long on the stretching side.
Looks great dude, lots of attitude in the piece. I don't think specific anatomy is too important, as long as the muscles/bones look like they work together in an anatomical sense, which they do here, I think it's fine. Stylized anatomy and proportions are what Riot is about! I don't see much else to crit yet, let's see how the piece progresses!

Mirrored version. IMO it looks more pleasant for the eye.
