Hi everyone at sweet home Polycount,
Been a lurker for 2 years, learned a lot of 3d here from everyone, (I was really into lowpoly painterly style back then, which might have inspired the switch to 2d :P), finally registered to post my drawings.
I started taking this seriously a year ago to become an artist in the entertainment industry, so (harsh) crits welcome

Portrait of a Tibetan boy, this was done 2 days ago, the next one will be a new piece.
As an overall advice, I'd say try to use the graphical strength of your darkest values as a compositional element instead of as a space filler. Keep things a bit lighter (like 16) and push the critical areas darker. 14 is just ripe and ready for a few strokes of darker values.
Thank you Shotgun for the feedback.

I havent been active on the forums lately, for good reason! I have enrolled in Julien Ashton Art School in the Rocks, Sydney to learn my art foundations properly and it has been a blast so far.
