so I've done 2 so far, and this is perhaps my final entry. I should have stopped but ppl keep telling me to do more. as you all know already, my line art is pretty sloppy haha. let me know what you guys think!

The composition looks really interesting. The concept confuses me a bit though...

Elise worships Vilemaw. Why would she fight someone who gave her the powers she posseses?

I was thinking along the line of elise rebelling against her master after becoming strong enough. even the mighty shall fall. there is no such thing as loyalty to the possessed.

was going to finish painting in her feet but they'll be covered by spiders so I left them undone.

Vilemaw's stomach opens up as it readys for an attack. the energy is so powerful the floor beneath them thunders and quake; ripping open the earth.


* added a perspective fog onto Vilemaw & BG to see how it looks. can revert if they dont look good after I'm done painting the spiderlings. BG is not final. I usually leave the BG for last because I want the BG to compliment the main focus.

composition wise, everything seems too randomly placed and seems to be all over the place.

a little over a month before due date, will slowly work on this painting as my finals for class approaches. during this time I will re-dreaw Vilemaw. currently looks too static and this is throwing off the composition of the painting.
