New portfolio website

Hi guys! My name is Evan Pascal and I've been studying 3D for a little over a year now, and I just recently made my portfolio and was hoping to get some constructive criticism from people with experience. I'm currently working on my demo reel so I don't have one yet, but anything helps. Thanks in advance!

I've no idea what you're trying to market yourself as, you've got a single prop, a high-res watch, an environment piece, a bunch of drawings and some animations.

Your about page says you specialise in low resolution modelling and texturing for games, but you only have two pieces for that, one is 10.5k triangles, kind of excessive, with no mention of texture size, and the environment has no information about what the triangle count or texture size is.

You need a focus and more information about your work

The site itself, I don't like the fancy pants transitions and a single page would be preferable

the part about specialising is more in reference to my demo reel which is in progress, what's on my website are assignments that i posted
thanks for the tip about posting count and texture size, though unfortunately until recently i hadnt realised that video game textures needed to be 512 or 1024 so the ones for my portfolio pieces were mostly 2048
i cant really focus my portfolio yet because i havent done enough good quality low res work, the transitions i can easily change but i dont really see how i can fit all of that on one page

This might sound rude, but in my opinion I would remove the underwater drawing. I don't think it is as good as the others.
I think you need some more game assets visible on the page, at the moment its kind of a mix match of different styles. Its not clear what you are actually specialized in.
You can always scale down textures :)

I'm considering removing the drawings altogether since I don't want to be a concept artist anyway
unfortunately I don't currently have any other game assets other than the piece im working on now for my demo reel
scaling down textures would mean having to redo my renders, which i really dont have time for right now :(

I don't think having large texture sizes would be too damaging :)

Mmm this looks like a general reel from a student fresh out of the general 3D school...just like mine lol.

But you should at least, concentrate on ONE aspect of what you wanna do.
