For my turret concept, I drew heavy inspiration from Leona, who is one of my favorite characters to play as a support main in League of Legends. I also studied the updated blue towers and decided that I wanted to recreate it for the most part, except with lots of Leona flair.
Here is my initial painted concept for the turret:
I decided that I liked the blue and gold combo more and made some adjustments to my initial concept accordingly. I also did a composite shot with a quick paint over of the back view featuring Leona's signature double shields. I'll be adding more details once I start the texturing phase.

Small update- Here is the finalized low poly model with an initial AO bake:
Excited to move on to my favorite part of the process..texturing! I'm also going to be working on some concepts for the creep den and hopefully post that really soon.
Hey guys, wanted to share a WIP shot of my turret. I still have a ways to go with adding textural details, tweaking values and defining my metals but it feels good to have a base established.
Made some substantial rendering progress on the turret and wanted to share what I have to date. I'm going to take a break from it to work on my creep den and come back to it for any tweaks. If you have any suggestions or feedback, would love to hear!
Hey really nice textures and execution! Before i read it was inspired by leona I still knew it was related to her. Well done on the design! The in-game view might be a bit problematic we can't understand that it is a character from behind. Maybe if you'd play around with the size of the different elements it would help see and understand the character a little bit more. Anyways good job!
Thank you JRancourt and r4ptur3 for the kind words. JRancourt, I really appreciate your feedback and I will definitely be revisiting my turret in the near future to see how it looks in a more accurate composition and go from there.
In the meantime, here is my creep den concept:
I wanted to stay with my theme of designing assets around my favorite League support heroes, and came up with this Zyra-inspired creep den. I imagine this den to hold a powerful plant monster that spawns from the glowing cave when enemies approach.
Wow dude. Your creep den is rad! The tower is really well executed, the only thing that really gets to me about it, is the size of those spikes. I feel as though they would actually hinder the players ability to see around the tower in the midst of battle... but hell, I ain't no game designer, so take that with a grain of salt.
Nice texture painting, Although i would actually model in the vines, make them thicker and chunkier like in your concept. I don't think it works as well painted on the texture.
