Hey,

Over the last several weeks I created this robot character as part of a science fiction world I've been working on. A key reference and goal for the project was to create a character as simple and endearing as WALL-E.

Any feedback on where you think I went wrong or right would be greatly appreciated.

Your beauty shot render isn't showing off your specular effectively. I don't know what you're using to render the character, but I think you're going to want to add more lights or use a different renderer to get your character to really pop. Right now, it feels flat for a beauty shot.

Otherwise, everything else seem good to go.

i really like the concept and the possibilities it creates, once u get the proper spec you should show off a few of those poses

I like the model, I don't really think the base material fits it well though. Just my opinion.

As mentioned your beauty render is very flat, other than that everything else is good. Concept is interesting!

Now that you've analysed the beauty shot I totally agree it comes across as a bit flat. I think i'll tweak the lighting in Unity and see if I can get a better result.
