Tribal Hunter - Wip

Hi everyone,

Right now I'm working a an alien hunter. I wanted him to look tribal or have tribal elements. I reference African tribes and some inspiration from the tall john carter creatures.

I really tried to work on my anatomy and tried not to over complicate my design.
For the main prop I want to give him a hunting spear.

My main question is overall does my character work design wise and if there are any elements the could be added or taken away to make my design better?

I'd recommend using IMGUR in the future.

Anyways, maybe tattoos or raised tattoos might add to the flavor? More speciically, tattoos that tell a story, like heiroglyphs of past significant hunts.

The body doesn't really match the head; it's a bit too human. Perhaps softening the anatomy would help.

ok awesome thank you guys. Also if i soften the muscles would i lose points for not having defined muscles? You i can makeup for that with good texture work?
