I'm currently working on this ammo box from Karanak (Natural Selection 2).

I'm almost done with the high poly model and would like to get some feedback on it before I continue with the low poly. As I am still kind of unexperienced I'd like to hear your thoughts about edges being too tight and that sort of thing.
Also.. feel free to ask for a wireframe or any other view that would help you criticize it.

You might want to open one end as in the concept to ensure you have the motion & interior details down.
Looks great! Would you be mind posting a high poly wireframe without the Turbosmooth/subdivision? I'm a noob and like seeing how people have gone about modelling stuff.
@DWalker yeah.. you are totally right about the latches.. I just couldn't figure out how these are supposed to work.. it's hard to tell by just looking at the concept.. I'm currently looking at fishing and ammo boxes to get an idea, but none of these have this handle shape
I replaced the handles with "latches".. they might not be super useful like that in reality, but I think they fit well
I also loosened up a lot of the edges hoping they will translate better into the normal map
I made backfaces and the inside so you can open it up.
Time to work on the low poly I think. Feel free to express your thoughts ^^
I finished texturing and rendering the asset and I'm looking forward to any feedback on presentation/lighting and of course.. textures. I'll try to incorporate it as best I can.
I used it to get in touch with ddo and did some adjustments in photoshop.

The only thing is the "Open here" sticky, I think it's a bit to clear compared to the rest!
