Howdy guys and gals!
Long time lurker first time poster.
Here is my progress of a vehicle i'm working on for a 3D class i'm taking at Laguna College of Art and Design. Let me know what you think.
Here's where I'm at for my high poly. My class will be building the low and unwrapping in this next week.

Yeah, here's the reference I used. Even still, I think I can definitely lose more bolts along the inner rings as the number of bolts in my model clearly don't match the reference. Also, i should probably describe where the tire meets the rims better in my model. Thank you!
Ok, so I have since built out my "low" (we were allowed up to 200,000 tris for a cinematic prop. I'm sitting just above 100,000. I'll get an exact count if anyone is interested) I've UV'd, Baked, and threw it into dDO for my base materials and textures. Of course, I'd like to go back and fix a few things here and there, but I have about a week to finish this for class so I need to press on with textures.
THAT BLUE ANTENNA WILL BE FIXED FIRST, I PROMISE.
This is only my first pass at textures as everything here is pretty standard dDO spit (I do love that spit though). I've got plenty of editing and refining ahead of me. Things are likely to change around quite a bit too.
Anyways critiques are always welcome guys and gals.
Please, keep em constructive.
Oh yeah, and i shrank the front wheels a tad.
Might need to go a bit further. it was reading from the side but not so much from 3/4.
Also look how the splash are shaping. Consider that without front fender the mud will reach higher:
Now it looks more like some kind of dirt/dust
Still open to your critiques though.
Would also be interested in marmoset rendering critiques/suggestions.
