Hi all!
So I thought that I should overcome one of my biggest problems with characters. I sculpt the head until it looks really quite good before I even block out the body. Problem is that until the body is as detailed as the head, it looks very odd.
So I saw some concept art of a monster and thought I would go for it
I'm afraid I do not know who the artist was but it has inspired my piece an awful lot.
Please let me know what you think of it at this beginning stage and give me any tips you can think of as I am still pretty new to Zbrush.
Thanks!

4 legs? Its not spider=) add more...
At this early stage, most things seem pretty darn well set-- except her breasts. They're kinda deciding to defy gravity the further down they go, ignoring the fact they're huge.
You really have to try and think of the breasts as something more akin to a sack than "boobs". They also fall to the side, without cleavage. If she's to have a form of push up bra, you'll still have to take this into account; the general breast anatomy is wonky.

And, in case you don't have your own or free access to someone else's to study the gravity and weight of boobs, some drawing tutorials that get the point across -- some a little risque so I've just left them as links. :poly136:

Keep it up!
The reason they are, as you said, defying gravity, is becuase in the concept she is wearing an armoured corset type thing which holds them up, but I will absolutely spend time getting this right.
Thanks again.
The statue from Gencon is probably a good start.
Here it is
