Iw made a couple of sketches trying to figure out Gnars design.
I allso tryed out a couple of skins (designed by myself) I might actually go with Dino Gnar though.
Forgot to post this last week! It refused to load! Gnar is pretty much finished! Im a little conflicted about how the legs and tail have a lower amount of polygons but hopefully it wil look allright!
I finished the uv map by unwraping the individual pieces and later place them in certain parts of the map so i could identefie what they where. Such as hand uv in one corner and head in the other.
Now im working with texturing Gnar in paint tool sai! It takes reall micro manadgment to mirror things such as face in place, and i can honestly say it looks a bit wonky. hopefully it will look allright in the end.
Update! Today i continued with texturing Gnar! Im pretty done with his textures!
I added shade and lightning efects! I actually did not think SHading and light would look good on a 3d model since its allredy emulated on the model itself but it ended up reall good and im reall happy i did it! Another thing i tryed was to overlay the texture to get better balanced colours. I used a yellow-ish overlay beous i thought it brung out some reall good colours! I had some trouble fiting the texture in the eyes so it did not cut! so i had to count the spaces and guesse it out, it still clips in some places but its allright!
I think you might wanna tone down the saturation of the colors a bit. Something around what you had for your sketches (which was really awesome btw), I reckon that'll make it look nicer!

So I ended up dublicating the ears and arms and put them into place by moving the pivort point to the midle and change the axis to -1, flawless!
I allso put in a quick skeleton to pose him in some cute positions!
