Hey guys, I'm working on my final demo for class. My plan is to have a group of 4 rpg trope characters adventuring through a dungeon. I'm planning it out like a character select screen, where the characters do a small animation once selected.
I also hope to create 2-3 different environments, enemies to populate them and 1 or 2 boss characters.
It will all be fairly low poly with hand painted textures. This is really the first time I've attempted something of this scale. All to be finished by December 19th!
I should point out that this will not be interactive, but a short 2 minute video, but themed around a videogame.
Here are the characters I'm working on currently, not quite finished, a lot of polishing to do. A thief, hunter and paladin.
A closer view on some props
And the maps for the thief and hunter
Any feedback is greatly appreciated!!
As well as any knowledge or best practices for making this kind of stuff.
Also, a few things I'm questioning, is the best way to do eyelashes just to make a curved plane and use an alpha?
What would be the best way to render this, I'm currently using Maya with no lights, is there a better way? Maybe using surface shaders?
Sorry for the long post. Thank you!

Working on the weapons for the characters, this is the paladin's sword. Gonna come back and fix the handle.
