Hey all, im going through the AKU demo and i wanted to know how to rotate a texture. Lets say for the grip when i apply the bare wood material how to i rotate it so the grain is facing another direction ?
There is a way to achieve the same effect but you lose the "sync" between the different maps meaning every map (gloss, normal etc) will need to be updated manually to match the albedo.
To do it, you need to disable any masks applied to your wood material layer, then flatten the layer so it becomes a real layer (as opposed to a pattern effect). Now the layer can be rotated however you want. Then you just need to reenable the mask. Repeat for all maps.
Hope this help and if anyone has a better method I'd love to hear it!
Hi guys!
This feature is absolutely being worked on and released as soon as its done! We understand this can be very frustrating and appologize for any inconveniance!

1.6, i'm really curious how to rotate materials such as wood.
Or we have to consider this moment while planning our UV map? It's not always possible when working with outsource.
